Data is slow? Here is how to speed it up

Network selection tricks that move you to the fast lane.

Connected but crawling usually means your phone latched onto a weak or congested network and is too polite to leave. Make it leave.

Toggle airplane mode

Ten seconds on, then off. Your phone re-scans and frequently lands on a stronger cell immediately.

Pick a network manually

Settings → Cellular → StrongeSIM line → Network Selection → turn off Automatic. Try the other listed carriers one by one and keep the quickest. Big cities often have three or more options.

Allow 5G, or step down to LTE

Voice & Data settings let you prefer 5G when available. Counter intuitively, forcing LTE sometimes beats a weak 5G signal indoors.

Check the data bar

If your fixed plan ran out, speeds stop entirely rather than slow down, so a trickle usually means network, not quota. Top up takes seconds in the app either way.
