eSIM QR code not scanning? Install it manually
Type two values instead of scanning. Works on every eSIM phone.
Cracked laptop screen, low brightness, a camera having a bad day: when the QR will not scan, manual installation gets you there with two copy pastes. The values are in the same email as your QR code.

Find your SM-DP+ address and activation code
In your eSIM email under Manual installation. They look like smdp.example.com and a long activation string.

Choose manual entry in settings
iPhone: Settings → Cellular → Add eSIM → Use QR Code → Enter Details Manually. Android: Add eSIM → Need help? / Enter code manually.

Paste, confirm, done
Paste the SM-DP+ address, then the activation code, confirm, and the eSIM installs exactly as if you had scanned it.
Type the values exactly, with no spaces before or after. If the installer rejects them twice, message support; we verify the code on our side in minutes.
